During the UP! conversations, elderly people meet monthly in groups and talk for 1.5 hours about a theme that matters as you get older. Think of farewell, family, love, courage, future or comfort. Sharing stories leads to new insights and a sense of connection. A new group will start in Lewenborg after the summer, and we are also looking for additional volunteers for the rest of the city. We are looking for a Volunteer discussion leader for UP! conversations in Lewenborg and other neighborhoods. Job tasks and duties - As a volunteer discussion leader, you provide a warm and open atmosphere where everyone can be themselves. - You show interest and can ask questions well, without judging or coaching. - You can steer a conversation in the right direction and bring energy and peace to the group. - You work alone or in a duo. - After each meeting, a short discussion report is written. Job skills and qualities Some practical things: - Age: 50+ years. - You have an open and neutral attitude and an affinity with the elderly. - 6-8 meetings are scheduled per year. (summer break) - The total commitment per month is approximately 4 hours.
