Your role

As Inside Sales Manager within the Semicon business unit, you are responsible for managing and further professionalizing the international inside sales team.

The role has a distinctly strategic character. The focus is not on working in operations, but on bringing structure, developing the team, and improving processes and performance.

You will land in an environment where the basics are in place, but further safeguarding, standardization, and quality improvement are needed. You will take the lead in this and ensure a future-proof setup of the department.

You manage an international team with staff in the Netherlands (3–4 FTE) and the United States (1 FTE). You also work closely with account management, supply chain, quality, and engineering.

Within the role, you also play an active part in strategic key accounts, participating in regular meetings and being involved in project teams. You are responsible for monitoring progress, coordinating inside sales activities, and presenting status and results to internal and external stakeholders.

You continuously liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and international colleagues and sites, to ensure processes are well aligned and agreements are realized.

The Semicon business unit operates in a dynamic market and works with a limited number of large, international customers who represent a significant portion of turnover. This requires structure, sharp stakeholder management, and consistent performance.

You are responsible for establishing and safeguarding a professional, scalable inside sales organization.

You lead the team and ensure clear guidance, ownership, and development of employees. The focus is on coaching, increasing independence, and creating accountability within the team.

You initiate and lead strategic improvement projects, focusing on process setup, pricing, and KPI management.

You monitor progress, set clear frameworks, and ensure results are achieved.

You establish a structured performance cycle with clear KPIs, periodic evaluations, and concrete follow-up. Think of lead times, response times, and order processing.

Commercially, you steer towards margin improvement, pricing strategy, and efficiency.

You take the lead in customer and quarterly reviews with international clients and ensure professional preparation and presentation of results.

Who are you?

Bachelor-level education and mindset.

You are a manager who brings structure and elevates teams to a higher level. You stand firm and know how to give direction in an environment where not everything has been worked out yet.

You have experience in inside sales, sales operations or a similar environment, and demonstrable experience in managing teams.

You also have experience in process optimization and working with KPIs and performance management.

You combine analytical ability with commercial insight and are able to translate improvements into concrete actions and results.

You feel comfortable in an international and technical environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Good command of Dutch and English; German is an advantage.

You are willing to travel internationally

Als Inside Sales Manager binnen de business unit Semicon ben je verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen en verder professionaliseren van het internationale inside sales team.

De rol heeft een nadrukkelijk strategisch karakter. De focus ligt niet op meewerken in de operatie, maar op het aanbrengen van structuur, het ontwikkelen van het team en het verbeteren van processen en performance.

Je komt terecht in een omgeving waar de basis aanwezig is, maar waar verdere borging, standaardisatie en kwaliteitsverbetering nodig zijn. Jij neemt hierin de regie en zorgt voor een toekomstbestendige inrichting van de afdeling.
