For one of our clients in the global dredging and offshore contractor and maritime services provider, we are looking for a document controller. Our client is a leading global dredging and offshore contractor and maritime services provider. They offer a unique combination of experts, vessels and activities. With their origins in the Netherlands, they have been operating for 115 years. Today they create new horizons for their stakeholders in the ports, offshore energy, maritime and inland infrastructure markets. Short description of the request; Due to some internal switches in personnel capacity and the increase of workload we are in search of a Document Controller (medior level) with 3-5 years of work experience The Document Controller will work in the Offshore Division where a variety of projects are supported by the Global Engineering department Day to Day Business as a Document Controller; You start your day in SharePoint, checking what came in overnight and making sure everything is organized, up to date and ready for the project teams. As a Document Controller your role is to keep project information under control so work can move forward smoothly and in line with out client's Way of Working. You are part of the DC team and support multiple Business Units, which means your day is dynamic. You switch between projects, people and priorities, following up with document owners, coordinating with engineers and Suppliers, Subcontractors, Clients and making sure documentation meets the required standards. You are not just handling documents — you are helping keep the project information lifecycle moving. A big part of your role is collaboration. You work closely with the Document Control team in Abu Dhabi, making sure documentation is aligned and consistent across locations. This international dimension makes clear communication, ownership and teamwork essential. At the same time, you are helping prepare for what is next. Over the coming year, Proarc will be rolled out as the standard system for auditable project deliverables such . You will support this transition by guiding users and helping create a uniform way of working across the organization. In parallel, you will work across multiple systems, managing, reviewing and distributing project documentation through client platforms such as Aconex, Ecodoc, Thinkproject, Assai and BOX as well as internal systems like SharePoint. Throughout the day, you support teams, answer questions and generate clear reports to highlight progress and identify delays early.
