Data Analytics Engineer Data Analytics Engineer NYC $300-500KDescription: The Data Analytics Strat will be a member of the team and will work closely with key stakeholders from the investment team. This person will be responsible for building and supporting the firm’s financial data analytics. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in financial market and products, including derivatives, across asset classes and will enjoy working in a fast paced, business facing environment with end-to-end responsibility for models and applications. Ideal candidates will have additional experience with execution data and analysis, and work with Execution team in developing our internal transaction cost analytics. Responsibilities: As part of a small team, the Data Analytics Strat will have a wide range of responsibilities broadly grouped into three categories: Data Supervision Market Analysis Workflow Efficiency Development Qualifications: Years of experience at hedge fund or asset manager in a similar data role. Broad familiarity with financial markets and products in rates, currencies, or equities. Strong data analytical skills Experience parsing data from various sources, loading and manipulating data, and interrogating issues in data or analytics accuracy Ability to build sustainable analytics for derived metrics and expose to non-technical users. Expertise in financial statistics and analysis including back-testing strategies, PnL, derivative payoffs, time series analysis, etc. Able to listen carefully, take feedback, ask clarifying questions, and logically and clearly communicate to careers@hrg.net DF2722
