About Point FWD
We are Point FWD — a young, creative and data-driven consultancy company. We act in the field of Aviation Security and advice airports, governments, security companies and equipment manufacturers in reaching optimised airport security environments. We do this by strongly tying security technology implementation to local process insights, always looking for the best process fit for each unique case. The core of our advice is to provide practical solutions to be used in strategic and operational tactical decision-making processes.
Your Point FWD challenge
The field of Airport & Security (Aviation Security) is subject to constant change. Staying compliant and successful can be complex and challenging. Point FWD maintains a diverse consultancy portfolio and brings expert knowledge and skills to a great variety of security checkpoint projects, ranging from process checkpoint design to optimization of security operations. The consultancy solutions are categorized under the following segments:
Security process and checkpoint design.
Technology development and testing programs.
Implementation of security equipment at airports.
Checkpoint monitoring and process optimization.
Through a deep understanding of technologies deployed in the security process, we focus on integrating systems and processes throughout the security checkpoint and its adjacent processes, such as queuing, check-in, and border control.
By using a data-driven approach, we create tangible consultancy products and services with the aim to enable certainty, control and foundation for high impact decisions for airport management, or OEM / security solution providers.
Concept Development and Project Management
Our Airport & Security Consultant is focused on having a high drive for project/program management and concept development. Usually, the ones that love getting goals and keep pushing work with many people in highly dynamic environments, for example:
Project, program management for airport security upgrade projects, from design towards implementation; the full process cycle
Overview of operational security equipment testing programs. These usually are big(!) and awesome.
Concept development: focusing on innovative passenger security screening processes and technologies together with clients such as security companies or OEMs.
Consultancy tool/client asset development: These include security process data collection platforms such as the Point FWD Check Point Inisght Tool (CIT) or Modelling Tool.
Process and Data analysis
The second profile is for applicants who love the critical detail and get motivated by thorough analyses, providing expert consultancy or data-substantiated evidence in our client assignments. This can be as client-facing as a PM role described above. That is totally up to your ambition. What can you expect:
Analyse comprehensive data sets of security screening equipment, sensor technology or manual data collection tools built in-house.
Develop new analytical frameworks to analyse the impact of changes in security processes on capacity, efficiency and other performance statistics.
Develop key data visualisation and reporting of security processes to international clients such as Airports, OEMs or Security companies.
